Attractive motel, comfortable and fairly priced. It's just over the road from the beach. The rooms are big which is always a bonus. Wifi is a bit tricky but possible near the main reception area. Don't forget to visit Driving Creek Railway up the peninsula a bit - a treat. The views on the Coromandel are wonderful.

Found this on Lonely Planet guide. No wonder they recommend it. Lovely architecture and beautiful rooms - reminds me of a Swiss Chalet. About 3 mins drive from Thames, overlooking the sea.
