If this is what you get for $170 a night I might of well saved $150 and slept on a hostel bunk bed. Going to Bunbury for a music festival my partner and I decided to spend the money to stay somewhere nicer than a dodgy motel for the night to treat ourselves. This place however looks NOTHING like the... More

Stayed for one night and that was enough. Stayed in a City view room with balcany. Room was very old, noisy airconditioner, you could hear everything going on out side even with the door shut, not flyscreens, no cutains (wood doors coverings) Old concrete steps getting up to room. In a desperate need for a make over. This is not... More

We stayed there with our 4 year old son for two nights (11-13 May 2012). Summary * : Do not stay at this dump. It is a run down motel with a semi-decent pool and attached business facilities run by the most unfriendly staff in Australia’s hospitality industry. Calling this place a resort is preposterous to say the least, but... More

Recent reviews here are very different to the experience I had. Yes the Resort has not been refurbished in the last five years but it was extremely clean everywhere and had special local stonework which although unusual in 2012 had special significance here as the developer owned stone quarries. The workmanship in the stonework is excedingly high.. Close to the... More

Stayed here in March 2012. After a long day traveling and fatigue setting in we decided to stop in Bunbury. We arrived at the Lighthouse Beach Resort. First impressions where good. The reception area was lovely. Booked a room for 150 dollars (off peak and a weekday) Went to our room and was most disappointed, Fronted with a rusty air... More

This old motel may have passed as a sea side resort in 1972 when it was built but is definately not worthy of that description anymore. We stayed in a ground floor ocean view room. Aircon was spitting water and rattling so we moved rooms, bathroom was terrible in unit 6, rooms outdated and not worth the $180+. Rooms/bathrooms in... More

Looking at the website this resort looked lovely, nice big pool, modern rooms etc, the nicest part of this place is the reception area. The room was clean and tidy but very dated, the bed was so hard it was impossible to sleep properly. The receptionist was polite but not very friendly and the pool looks so much bigger in... More

We happened upon the Lighthouse Beach Resort while driving around Bunbury, and decided to stay the night. Uncharacteristically, we did not check Trip Advisor before booking in, or we would likely have looked elsewhere. As there were four of us, we got two adjoining rooms, each with a sliding glass door to the pool area and a door opening to... More

Had diner recently. "Souffle" was merely a re heated moulded omelette. Avocado dip was black and hot. French fries were dark brown (re heated) Scotch filet was a lower quality cut, Aligot mashed potatoes were missing the Aligot. Only the ocean trout was reasonable but I failed to find the soubise sauce. Menu is too ambitious and does not deliver.... More

We booked a room with a spa for a bit of luxury, and were given the choice of an ocean view room for $20 extra = $180 for the night. And what a beautiful view it is!! As you walk into the room, you are greeted with wall to wall Indian Ocean! Absolutely gorgeous by afternoon, and even more stunning... More
