If your after 'just a bed for the night" then Charnwood will do. Whilst it is just budget accomodation the rooms are clean, spacious and within walking distance to Fitzroy St. Room rates are good for what you get. Dont expect anything too flash but it did the job for what we wanted. Would stay again if need be. more
stayed 2 nights real problem with the bed and banging headboard leave it to your imagination room looks like the cleaner visits once in a blue moon looks nice when booked over the web nice street. real close to the espy in st kilda but management were unfriendly and not helpful glad we ate out. even the cups looked dirty... more
What an absolutely disgusting hotel. Not only were the staff rude, but the room was filthy. I would have at least expected a clean room. The air con was so noisy I had to turn it off so I could hear the TV that would not tune in. Just to top it off I am pretty sure the noisy people... more
Not much to say about this place.. Its not that cheap but it sure looks budget.. Its on a nice street but the wrong side of the street (right next to a highway!).. The service is pretty terrible, their internet service is extremely slow.. the inhouse menu is terribly overpriced, and the eggs were undercooked.. I guess I'd stay there... more
