We have stayed in several motels over the past 6 months as we travel down to watch the football, and we are disgusted and annoyed at our recent experience at your motel. On checking in, the man at the front desk didn't acknowledge me as I walked in and stood at the front desk for nearly a minute, before he... More

I have stayed at Easystay Bayside several times before and have always found the rooms to be clean and great value. This time I stayed in one of the rooms overlooking Fitzroy Street and found it a little noisy so will request a room at the back in future. The Easystay Bayside has the best location in Fitzroy Street, walking... More

Thank god we had only booked for 1 night. Room 110 was next to a disco/pub which banged out horrific duff duff (music?) until 6am next morning. This was a Sunday (hate to think what a Friday or Saturday would have been like.) Could not find a Manager to complain. Got no sleep at all and was glad to book... More

Needed a cheap place to stay in Melbourne, and despite the poor reviews, we booked Raglan Street based on price. It IS in the suburbs and well away from St. Kilda night life, however for some that might be a good thing - It's 10 bucks in a taxi from the Acland street bars, so not too bad. The tram... More

We were booked to stay here from 10 to 24 February 2012, but got out on 13th, the soonest we possibly could. We reported a long list of defects (including hygiene - filthy dishes, utensils and oven; and safety - inoperable smoke detector) to management. Tariff for the 3 days was to be refunded in full. The room and the... More

Grubby and grotty foyer with very rude staff at reception. The cot that was requested was put into another room and we were expected to get it and bring it up two flights of stairs. The only clean thing about the room was the sheets. Very very noisy. Don't expect to get any sleep. We stayed on a Saturday night... More

You can't complain at the price....but you pay for it everywhere else. The apartments, although very small are neat n tidy, but the noise associated with the comings 'n' goings, especially on a Saturday night are truly unbearable :( We must have been woken at least 3-4 times by inconsiderate adjoining guests. So in summary, if a restful nights sleep... More

Pretty basic hotel, and only good if you get a room that is at the back facing the carpark otherwise I doubt you will be able to sleep at night. My partner and I were there for a Friday night (the night before out 5am wakeup for the plane home) and the music from the clubs and bars kept us... More

Booked room after reading reviews and thought of canceling as single parent with 2 teenage daughters. Felt safe whole time, staff friendly, walked to and from Palais theatre close to midnight with no dramas. Fitzroy st was busy but slept like a baby. Not flash but beds comfy. Had room out back and no lift but only had carry on... More
