Wasn't expecting much as the place was quiet cheap, but was pleasantly suprised. Queen deluxe room had a soft refurb in the last few years, was a funky and comfortable mix of the old and new. Just spent a few days here in a top floor 2 bedroom apartment with fantastic views of the north arm lake. Just perfect. Very close to town, walking distance. I'd highly recommend one of the lake-view apartments (although in busy months the pool might be noisy, right outside your door). So long as you don't mind the dated 70s decor.... More

The apartments were nice but a bit old. My back hurts from sitting on cheap furniture but the location was good and the people nice. Watch the statement re cable tv..... one childrens channel, one foxtel sport, and the "sky" is news not racing. They want $12.00 for internet connection where others nearby are free. Nice place though. More
