With a pretty good location, Echuca Backpackers is your standard accommodation of the variety favoured by those travelling on a budget. Although it's on the main road leading into town, it was surprisingly quiet when I stayed; it was the middle of winter, however. After a very rough start to our backpacking adventure me and my fiance found ourselves with nowhere to go, sitting at a train station in Swan Hill...with little money and all of our worldly belongings in various bags.....
