We stayed on the Saturday night in the fountain view suits which are very well done and kept clean and tidy. Our room had a gas log fire which was out of order during our stay which was a disappointment , we were given a discount to make up for the inconvenience. Overall a great property and location. I would... More

Thank you for taking the time to review Fountain View. The plumber has attended the Suite and the heater is up and running. Sorry that it was not in working order during your stay. More

The apartment we stayed in was on Wills Street, very close to everything. The apartment was very clean and newly renovated. The one thing that could have been better was the mattress as it was quite uncomfortable! We would consider staying at Allawah again but, not at the same apartment block. The owner has great style, is welcoming and helpful.

Thank you for taking the time to review our property. Wills Street apartments offer six fully self contained one bedroom apartments close to town, and were renovated two years ago. The bed is a queen mattress with a slat base, maybe you are use to a mattress and base which the majority of our properties offer. See you next time... More

'Allawah' run a number of great properties to suit a range of clients and needs. We recently stayed in one of the maisonettes and were very happy. The property is in a central location so there is no need for the car once it is parked. Located in an old bank and very charming with a pleasant outdoor area to... More

Thank you for your review. I have to agree, the view from the verandah is great, it is a completely different aspect of Bendigo with the red bricks, tall gold smelter chimneys and even a palm tree. More

We recently stayed in the executive apartment at the Pall Mall end of Mitchell Street near Alexandra Fountain. After picking up the keys from Wine Bank on View in the View Street arts precinct, we had a casual 5 minute stroll to the apartment. We had a few problems locating the entrance via a laneway, but, after a quick dash... More

Thank you for taking the time to review one of our Executive Two Bedroom apartments. Most of our apartments are shop top developments, making use of space that for many years were left vacant, so sometimes there entries are down laneways that are hard to find on Goggle Maps or the like, but I will keep searching. Thank you for... More

We stayed in one of the maisonettes for a night as my partner used to work with a company in Bendigo and we had their farewell do. We were booked in for just one night. It was nice enough. The rooms are very tastefully decorated. The bathroom in the maisonette we were in was small and the bed was a... More

We stay with work regularly and would normally choose the maisonettes, Central location great value. I have also stayed at the fountain view suites and they are amazing. They also have one and two bedroom apartments which I have stayed in with my wife and friends. Modern fit out central can't beat it.

We woke up thinking we were going to Beechworth, but somewhere along the way decided to head to Bendigo instead. We were so lucky to find the cozy Wine Bank, where we enjoyed dinner and some great Shiraz. Our waitress recommended the maisonettes out in the back, which used to house the male staff members of the bank building in... More

Allawah seems to operate "maisonettes", apartments and a house at various locations around Bendigo. When we booked a 1 bedroom apartment at $160 a night we expected it to be reasonably sized and centrally located in the arts precinct. When we arrived we found the so-called Wills St. studios are a fairly cheaply renovated block of 6 small 1970s flats... More

The Allawah Maisonettes are very well located, right in the heart of View street in the old (1876) staff quarters of the Union Bank - which is now the Wine Bank. The renovation is tasteful and the room (We has No 5) was very pleasant although small - a double bed, small kitchenette, door to a wardrobe, and that's it.... More

Make sure you are getting charged the price that you think - we stayed here and while the accommodation was new, clean and central - the prices listed on the website didn't match what we were charged.
