I booked a Junior Suite which had a king bed, sitting area and generous bathroom. On the edge of he CBD, it's a neat and clean B&B. As a family of 5, we stayed in the townhouse, 1 child den stairs in the lounge, the rest upstairs. One bathroom is a slight down, but plenty of parking. WIFI is free, but didn't reach the townhouse. Breakfast very traditional, but good. Would stay again.

Firstly I guess I should mention that it was an unseasonably hot night for Launceston! Staff had opened all windows prior to our arrival but the room was still very stuffy and hot and not fitted with air con or fans. Leaving the windows open also meant that our sleep was disturbed by a snoring guest in the room below... More

Fiona's is a charming place with huge rooms, proper king beds and lovely staff. The only problems are the limited breakfast options and little details like Kraft preserves, International Roast coffee (gawd) and lack of proper butter for breakfast. Cutting corners like that stops 4 star from being 5 star.

Have stayed at Fiona's several times and love their suites. On this occasion we were with another couple so were offered one of the town houses. It was explained to us on booking that they weren't quite up to the standard of the suites. They aren't but they were fine and for an extended stay in Launceston would be perfect... More

In a quiet spot despite being in a central Launceston location, wonderfully tended gardens, a quirky cinese-aussie decor, nicely-cooked breakfast served with a smile. We went there in January with our three kids - all very good!
