We spent our one night in Launceston at the Clarion City Park Grand, in a gorgeous, comfy and quiet room in the Stables. We felt quite self-contained, almost like being in an apartment, so didn't really get a sense of what the main hotel building is like. I would like to say that I booked to stay Saturday night in a room with 2 queen beds for my 2 boys and myself and how impressed we are. The apartment was large and extremely well equiped. We stayed in an upstairs deluxe room for 3 nights in the stables and loved it. The decor was lovely and the room was very spacious. There was a nice, very clean bathroom, and ample parking. However, if you are not able to carry your luggage up two flights of stairs I wouldn't recommend it, as there was no lift.... More
