Merrisa & Steve are great hosts, we often stay here when we are in Launceston, it is excellect value, walking distance to the city centre, yet quiet , surrounded by lovely heritage homes. Steve's breakfast's are home made fresh produce and wonderfull, The home is a large Victorian house built in the late 1800's and has a very comforting feel... More

Stayed 1 night here. Very old style house, so a little dark along the corridors & wallpaper is outdated. On a rainy night after dinner, the porch lights were not switched on, so had to not trip over the steps. Bed was soft so was not a very comfortable sleep. The soap was strange - was home made & placed... More

Very enthusiastic staff and great breakfasts (home made) - the highlights of this stay. The place itself is about 10 mins drive from the Launceston CBD and is surrounded by heritage houses and B+Bs. The property itself is a bit dated (especially the wallpaper) but it was a nice place for a short stay. Recommend it!

Convenient location in a quiet area. The lady host was extremely friendly and helpful. She was attending to the flowers outside when we arrived. Within a jiffy, she had 2 of of luggage bags carried up to our room on the 1st floor. The overall display gives one a wonderful feel of being transported back to the heritage age. Breakfast... More

This place was recommended to me by my sister: awesome historic home in a heritage district. We had adjoining rooms that were modest but comfy and clean. Close to all amenities in town. Sensational home made breakfasts. The owner, Steve is a wealth of information on all things Launceston.

Booked in for 4 nights in what appeared to be a quite charming old home, other members of my family had chosen this, and we wanted to stay in the same place. I had called the owners prior to booking and let them know I suffered from a dust allergy. I asked for a room with floorboards - usually better... More

This B&B is surely good value for money and the magnificient home made breakfast is just too good to be true. The B&B owner and manager will surely help you with anything you may need and ensure you have a comfortable stay.

The house is old and beautiful with lovely trees in the garden. The hosts are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is wonderful. However, the rooms are disappointing. Our room seemed to be unoccupied for a while - the quilts and curtains were dusty. The double size bed was a rollaway bed which shifted easily - revealing more dust underneath.

This is a lovely Victorian style house which is full of character in a quiet leafy location in Launceston. The location is ideal as it is only 5 minutes walk to City Park and 20 mins to Catarach Gorge. The hosts are extremely friendly and take pride especially in their delicious breakfasts which includes all home made breads, jams, yoghurts, museli, muffins etc.The rooms are a...
