We stayed here for two nights over Easter break, really enjoyed our time there. The hotel complex (where i stayed) is old from the outside but it is a modern furnishing right through the inside, including furniture, bedding and bathroom. Extremely up market accommodation – modern, spacious, clean and very well furnished. Every mod con! Large well equipped, roomy bathroom, bath and walk-in shower with toiletries and lots of towels. Had a really nice steak in the restaurant (which was very busy for a Sunday evening) but can’t comment on breakfast as we had to leave early the next morning.

We stayed in a King Suite, and the room was very large, with a little patio (a little too hot to sit outside during our stay). Large, new bathroom, quite nice. Mt Gambier is an interesting place albeit rather quirky, the lake worth a visit. Had dinner at the Barn; good steaks.

We stayed in the cheapest room which is in the newly renovated origional motel style part of the complex. The modern furnished room was very clean but watch out for the shower as the water can turn from warm to scalding in a second with no warning. For an overnight stay the room met all of our needs.
