The location for this hotel is excellent. It’s close to the beach, shops and restaurants, with a tram stop nearby which will take you into the centre of Adelaide. The hotel is in pristine condition with nicely furbished, clean and comfortable rooms and friendly staff. More

In Nov 2011 I spent several nights at the Best Western Glenelg outside of Adelaide. It was a good location in that the tram from the centre of Adelaide stopped less than 200 meters from the hotel. The best thing about this motel is the location, just around the corner from the beach and Glenelg restaurants and cafes. The Motel itself is clean enough, very "70s" looking decor, and small rooms. Stayed here in July '11 for the second time in 12 months & was not disappointed. Yes the carpark can be difficult to park in if you are an average driver, yes the stairs can be a pain if you are older or slightly unfit but that aside it is value for money given the location. We are hardly ever misled on hotels, but this one bit us in the rear. Best Western hotels have a reputation for cleanliness and good maintenance. Great Location right on beach. Hotel itself refurbished, rooms smallish. Too many stairs, Front & Back. Parking extremely poor too close, and car roulette to get in and out.
