The rooms are old, smelly and in desperate need of a refurb. The owners were very pleasant on check in and check out. Accommodation in Mackay can be hard to come by, but I would look elsewhere and book here as a last resort.

The hotel is good for families that need larger rooms. We had a twin share room and there was plenty of room to move around as well as a good amount of space between the beds. Will deffently stay again and make use of the pool. Service was friendly and easy.

Not many options in Mackay under $200 during the week, my work selected this one and I was was very happy. Reception is friendly and nice guy .We were in a twin and a bit cramped and dowdy. Co9uld do with a makeover. Reasonably clean but Mackay generally is overpriced and operators need ot put money back into their properties. Food average
