Lovely motel, very clean and modern. The service was excellent (the complimentary drinks on arrival were great)!! Stayed for two nights with my son while attending a sporting event so we were only there to sleep but we had a swim in their lovely pool and ate at their restaurant (the food was outstanding!!!) I suggest that you triple check your booking. I recently called and booked some motel rooms and was told there was plenty of availability. Turns out there is none and they emailed me to tell me. Staff clearly need to be better trained to check a computer system. Not happy! More

Staying in Mackay I always look for affordability and comfortable rooms. This was the first time I stayed at the Mackay Resort Motel and I have to say I was really impressed. The staff were excellent and the rooms spacious and modern. Two thumbs up for the new furniture and bedding. Highly recommended. More
