The worst hotel ever! No sound proofing. Heard every word the neighbours said. Phone didn't work, TV didn't work. Cockroaches everywhere. Horrific 3 night stay.

Rooms were clean and tidy, nothing special, but fine for a few nights, close to Wollongong, Figtree. New management from earlier this year 2011. They have started to implement some upgrades to service and some rooms currently closed while being upgraded. Oct 2011. Appreciated the TV in the dining / bar area ... to watch the football final. We stayed here overnight. Paid $100 for room, no breakfast. Reception was ok, but was told if we wanted a meal, we had to get back to the dining room in 10 minutes. I visited the town of Wollongong last November for a small business trip there. I made an early reservation online and thank God I didn't have to undergo such trouble like the other one has. Stayed here for a night in March 2007 for a night. We stayed here as we had a wedding to go to that night and as we live in Sydney it would have been a hike to get home that night. We booked directly with the hotel about 2 months prior and all was confirmed at the time via email.... More
