Worst hotel I have stayed in this year. Room was like a box very small, next to the highway, and certainly not worth the $99 I paid. Whoever from NRMA gave this hotel a 31/2 rating needs to check their eyesight because they certainly didn't see room 10

The first room we were given looked directly into the restaurant.You had to climb on the bed to draw the curtains and it gave a wonderful view of a man eating his dinner across a passage about 1 1/2 metres away. Enjoyed our stay, great room with balcony over looking water, plenty of fresh air, even though we had air con if needed. Nice outlook & quiet room. Great value for money, see you in 2012 regatta. :-)

An expensive night in a country town only to be kept awake by staff partying in the restaurant till 1am in the morning (the restaurant was outside the window). This place had little to recommend it. Air conditioner was ancient noisy & barely worked. Restaurant was closed, as was breakfast room. Lucky we only needed to stay one night.

Great location to go for a morning stroll to walk off the Brazillian BBQ feast had the night before. Most relaxing time. Enjoyable staff and exceptional service. Will definitely stay there again.

I stayed 2 nights. Ate their brilliant Brazillian BBQ. The rooms and contents were exceptionally clean. After reading the prev reviews I was shocked so I hope this changes peoples minds. Definitely value for money, will most definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our stay, value for money, refurbed room & views of the river from our balcony. Friendly staff, will stay next time in Taree.
