We stayed one night here, booking late. Dubbo was almost booked out as it can be on big weekends. We were allocated one of the rooms above the entrance drive in. The room was quite well appointed but the whole length of our windows faced the highway The noise from hundreds of trucks on the Newell Highway was very very... More

Stayed overnight here, very disappointed. Reading the promos you expect a lovely golf course view etc, but no. The room was not soundproof, and could hear all the conversation of the people next door. Marginally clean, huge cobwebs all over the windows 'overlooking the golf course'. On main highway, which you don't realise until you get there. Also disappointed that... More

We were in Dubbo to visit the Zoo and stayed only one night. We had a downstairs budget room that was clean, quiet and comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. We enjoyed a light dinner in the bar as we found the restaurant to be very expensive. The bar meal was nice, and the staff were friendly and... More

The room stunk of filth the carpet was stained the bathrooms were full of pubic hairs The entire grounds were ramshackled and tiles falling off walls of pool Dirt and debris all around the facility and the plates at breakfast were dirty and many stained Definitely not 4 star I would give it a 2 at best

This is a nice place and our room was clean, great beds. Reading the other reviews I can relate to the breakfast comments, it did the job, but the egg was solid, scrambled and the bacon was swimming in oil. However, there was enough other choice. Good stay and friendly staff. Very clean and looked like corridors glad been painted.

We were given 2 nights here (& zoo pass) by family for a Christmas present. It's nice and close to the Western Plains Zoo and next to a golf course. We checked in mid afternoon, front desk service was excellent and were given a room opposite the entrance, window facing the golf course. I expected it to be noisy, it... More

Rooms towards back are quite. Good price for a resaonably large room with air con and free internet. Close to zoo and golf course. Restaurant is pricey but the meals are large. Forget about entree's.

We spent two nights here recently in a family suite. There were three of us travelling together and this worked out well with a king size bed in one room and two king singles in the other. Both rooms had (tiny) TVs with Foxtel but no digital stations. There were numerous cricket and other assorted insects in the room, which didn't... More

Lower numbered rooms are located near the front of the property which fronts the Newell Highway which has hundreds of semi-trailers moving along it every night. I would suggest that you request a room towards the rear of the hotel to avaoid the noise. Rooms are very comfortable and the hotel has many facilities including a restaurant (a bit expensive),... Room what you'd expect for the price. Good size, but could use an update. The air conditioner was terrible.
