I stayed at Rydges for a business trip to the area. Overall, I was pleased with the hotel but there were a few things that left me with a bad taste in my mouth. We recently spent 5 nights here at Priority Guest Rates. Terrific location. Because its out of town and off the highway and main street, its very quiet ( at least when there's no races on!). Our room was very comfortable. The restaurant is great. We will definitely stay there again if in Bathurst.

We arrived late at night, the hotel is on the racetrack which is quite a way out of town and a little difficult to find.... not much signage. Staff lack attention to customer service. Meals are expensive. Service is incredibly slow and indifferent. Rooms are not well equipped for the business traveller ( no power at the desk... What are ou thinking? ). Laundry seems to be an inconvenience to them. But then this is regional NSW, where this is pretty much the norm. Stuck out of town.... More

We have stayed here before under the Mirvac label. The deluxe rooms are a good size with an added bonus of a kitchen and a spa bath. Definitely worth the little bit more for the extra room and facilities. This time the breakfast was included and whilst it was adequate, the variety was a little lacking. Bit of improvement needed... Stopped for a long weekend away with family. The location on the 6th floor was excellent with own balcony and kitchen. Obviously set up to watch car racing but the track was used by cyclists and joggers when we visited, so was very quiet.
