This property is family owned and operated and it really shows. The whole procedure from initial enquiry thru to checkout really took me back to another era when guests were more than "bums in beds".Friendly ,laid back but efficient. After a long day in the saddle to have a shower that didnt require a search party to find the water was a... This motel is right in front of the cafes, shops and restaurants in Kingston, which made it super-easy for us to meet our friends on a night out. It's literally just a 30-second walk through a parking lot, making this the best-located motel in Kingston. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower is excellent!... Thank you for your review and I am pleased you enjoyed your stay. We are an older property in a fantastic location and we are pleased when the work involved in extensive renovations has a positive impact on the guest experience (such as great showers, new TVs, adding FOXTV and additional bathroom amenities). Hope we see you again soon. More

This motel sets the benchmark for this type of establishment. Although the rooms are small they are well furbished with everything you need and are clean comfortable with excellent shower facilities and lighting. It’s well placed with restaurants and shopping near by. The management and staff were very friendly and helpful. Its also has an interesting display of Australian sporting... More

Thank you for your review. We have tried to add to the small bathroom space with quality inclusions (such as strong, hot shower, quality towels and lighting) and I am pleased it hit the mark with you. More

Stayed here one night. Got a cheaper rate by going onto the Best Western.com website - and actually saved $30 from the rate given direct over the phone ! The room is small, but well presented and equipped. The staff are average, with no stand-out greeting on arrival. I was offered a map of the area and told about the... More

Unfortunately I can not answer the rate query as I have insufficient detail available. However in some instances rates are available with varying conditions (such as prepayment and no cancellation) which may vary from a standard rate. Exact requirements in room type and number of guest may be differently communicated verbally and online leading to different price quotations. Each room... More

Well I was expecting a much higher quality of accommodation in this lovely part of the ACT. The rooms are very small with nowhere to put your luggage. The bathrooms whilst new, are very very small. Again there is nowhere to put anything! The view of the rear carpark obscured by the mouldy window. The staff whilst pleasant, thought they... More

All rooms have a wardrobe with hanging space (and hangers) and a luggage rack. There is extra drawer space on both sides of the bed. Bathrooms have a shelf and hooks. All external windows (including those to the rear carpark) have curtains. This is a very popular property which is often fully booked and staff endeavour to manage this very... More

Place may look a little dated on the outside, but the rooms nice inside. The bed & pillows were comfortable. The room was newly renovated. Shower was excellent. Check in and out was fast and easy. Location was perfect for Kingston restaurants. Good value for the money and star rating.

Thanks for the feedback. The focus of our recent renovations was the in-room experience and part of that was providing a geat shower and bed. We are still in that great location close to restaurants and shops. More

I stayed here for one night and was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door to my room. It was small, but well equipped and modern. The bathroom was brand new had excellent shower pressure (most canberra hotels install water saving devices. Being a renovated older style motel, the the front door was old and did not serve to keep... More

Thanks for your comments. Bottom door seals have recently been added to rooms and all room have reverse cycle heating/cooling. We are a very busy property in a prime location and unfortunately can not control the behavior of all guests at all hours. Noise is not tolerated as a matter of policy and our staff are available 24 hours if... More

I have stayed here a couple of times on work related trips. It’s definitely a motel, with quite small rooms, but they are neat and perfectly adequate. It also has cable television, free parking and is within walking distance to Kingston restaurants and pubs. I wouldn’t recommend this place for a longer stay but it’s fine for a couple of... More

On a recent holiday in Australia we selected this hotel from reviews on TripAdvisor for its location near the Canberra railway station due to taking the train back to Sydney. The hotel was fine for a one-night stay-over, but would be too noisy for longer. Noise from early morning cleaning staff that is. The room was very clean and comfortable... More
