This motel needs a lot of maintenance. Stairs to the rooms are about to fall apart. On check in we were told the towels and coffee would be replaced daily. After coming home on the first day we discovered this was not the case. After several phone calls trying to get hold of somebody we finally got fresh towels and replacement coffee and toilet paper. It's a shame because the location of the motel is great and rooms are spacious but service and overall maintenance of the motel is letting it down.

Very Close to centre of Queenstown. Room had a view of the Lake and Cable car. Room was clean and comfy bed but kitchen area very small. No where to plug toaster in so had to put it on the floor! The seats out side the room need replacing they were broken and uncomfortable to sit on. Staff friendly and we borrowed an umberella from Reception.

The check-in process was woeful. Documentation I received said check-in was from 2pm-6pm and to check in at 12 Stanley St (the Four Seasons motel next door). Got there just after 2pm. Sign on that door said go to Caples Court reception. Went there and it was locked and unmanned. Rang their number, which went to voicemail. Waited 25 minutes in total. Luckily we buttonholed one of the cleaners who said he'd get in touch with the manager, who turned up 10 mins later and blithely apologized, saying he didn't know what time we'd be arriving (??). Reception was unmanned for most of our 5-night stay. On the plus side, the room was clean and the kitchen appliances worked. Was serviced only twice during our stay but the cleaning staff were friendly. The place has nice views and is centrally located. Undercover parking but a bit difficult to get out onto the street. Sadly the place generally looked a bit down-at-heel. The garden/vegetation was unkempt and there were signs of wear-and-tear about the place. For the money we paid, I would have expected better service.

Great location, very clean and tidy, bed was comfortable and friendly staff. Only negative was the wifi was terrible. I’d stay again for sure! Very close to coffee, supermarket and restaurants. Not far from the airport too!

My parents whom I had booked here really enjoyed their stay. The room was warm, serviced regularly, and extra heaters provided as well . The motel is close to town. The host Cornelius was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this place.

I stayed for three nights in the budget basement studio and it was fantastic! That room is the best kept secret in Queenstown. Not only was it half the price of every other room, it was also so quiet (which is so hard to come by during peak winter when people routinely stomp about in ski gear). The queen bed was very comfy and I slept so well (and after summiting Ben Lomond in knee-high snow conditions, I was praying for a quiet, restful night — and got it). The bathroom was clean, and the kitchenette was sufficient enough I could make all my meals in it. The big soup bowl made my day. Please don’t ever remove it. The laundry is next door (very convenient), and if the door is shut, you don’t hear the machines. A walk across the car park affords you mountain views. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the sun rise while sipping on my first cup of jo. The location was great; a minute walk into town and 5 minutes to trail heads. Check in and out was smooth sailing. All in all, I loved my little bunker and will stay there again.

This was a great location, not too close and not too far from town centre. My family and I were very comfortable. We will definitely be returning here to stay A+ Everything about being here was easy even with my one year old.
