I spent 2 nights at the Tanoa Aspen Hotel in Queenstown on 2 different times....
Check-in was great.... the staff were friendly...
Room service was on time.. the choice was limited however the curry was great.... yum..
The room was great... especially for the price... the room was clean and well appointed... an amazing iron... which is plus the business...

I stayed for 3 nights and had booked at the last minute over the Easter/Warbirds over Wanaka long weekend so not many choices available. If you get the motel at a cheap price and just want a roof over your head then it will be fine.

Very welcoming staff and all round great prices accommodated with an absolutely superb restaurant makes this place an absolute delight to stay in.
We had a two bed apartment here for three nights in March.
The sheets were clean.
However, I can't think of a better word to describe the bathrooms than 'bogging'.
There were buckshee holes in the walls in the shower, there were fixtures hanging loose off the wall, the shower head had blockages in it. Dead creatures behind the door...

Stayed here in January 2011 If you are driving, this place provides you with a great view, if you are willing to pay the extra money for a lake view room. The staff was very friendly and nice, the view from the balcony was great. The room itself was nothing special but had all we needed.

If your on a budget and want some of the best views in the world come to Tanoa.Its simply mind blowing from the resturant.
Ive been going there for over a year for business and personal stays. Approx 25 stays to date.I have even taken the mother in law there so it must be good.
