This was one of the best camper van parks we stayed in. The staff were friendly and would go out of their way to help. The sites are close but it didn't bother us. We were more interested in relaxing and looking at the sites of Queenstown which are only a few minutes down the road. The location was the... more

We picked the Queenstown Lakeview holiday park as it seemed to be rated well and looked OK in the Jason’s Guide. How wrong we were! We had read in Lonely Planet that the pitches are close together but they are shocking we could hear the neighbours water pump from inside our van with the doors and windows closed. We were... more

Stayed here twice in 2 different rooms types ( Tourist flat and a studio). The tourist flat for $10 more seems like much better value with 2 rooms and beds for 5 and a couch to site on. Good location, although up a short and steep hills from the town centre. Nice views from many of the rooms once you... more

I stayed at the Queenstown Lakeview Holiday Park in late Janaury, while travelling with an athletics group - we had 15 teenagers in our group. We were very impressed with the Holiday Park as it was very suitable for our group. When you arrive and enter the Holiday Park the front office / reception looks fantastic. Lots of information inside... more

We stayed in one of the Motel rooms for two nights just before Christmas. Rooms are quite big but very basic, don't expect anything more than a bed for the night. Great location to explore Queenstown. Close to the town and gondola. Staff are friendly and our room had superb views of the lake and mountains. Ideal budget accommodation if... more

We stayed in a camper on site at Queenstown Lakeview Holiday Park. Good, clean facilities. Great location at the base of the gondola and easy walking distance to the centre of town. No complaints. more

In short, this is a camper van park, with great facilities for those in camper vans. But beyond that, it is to be avoided. We booked 5 nights in one of their top end motel units which were awful. We left after night one, getting a refund on the remaining nights, and went to Oaks Shores on Frankton Road which... more

We stayed two nights at Queenstown holiday park in Feb 2007 in our rented campervan The powered sites were very close together (especially compared to our previous night at Glentanner Park) we had to ask our neighbours to move across a bit so we could get in. Having said that, we chatted more to our neighbours on both sides at... more

This review is for the Queenstown Lakeview Holiday Park. It's located very near the Skyline Gondola Terminal. Location is also near to the central town area (~5 mins walk to the i-site areas) Communal kitchens are well-stocked. Rooms are spacious and splitting the cost between 4 of us, the price is hard to beat ! Would definitely stay there again. more

I didnt think paying for showers was appropriate but the reception staff, one in paticular, made our stay very pleasurable, it is a large park but pretty clean with some nice views and very close to town. more
