We stayed at this hotel during a quiet time for the hotel on a visit involving volunteering at the NZPGA Pro Am tournament at The Hills. The room had plenty of space (queen plus single bed) and was comfortable - great shower. Cooked breakfast was included, on several occasions specifically cooked for us when the breakfast bar wasn't operating. The... More

Stayed here for two nights when we were visiting Queenstown. We brought one night over wotif.com, which was the "Bed, Breakfast and Bowling special for $99!! This rate included the room with one Queen and one Single bed, Full cooked breakfast per person and two games of bowling per person. We were very happy with the service we received, all... More

I stayed in the hotel for 4 days and extended to 7 days, because I really enjoyed the stay there. There are a lot of facilities, like the bowling center, a spa (whirlpool and sauna), a outdoor pool and volleyball. A big parking space is located in front of the hotel and as a guest, you can use it for... More

Website made the place look very nice, but the reality was very different. Old decor and old tv, the staff wouldn't book us a restaurant reservation in town because they had a restaurant on site. They did provide a room for us to lock up our bikes though and the wine in the bar was nice! We paid the same... More

we stayed here a couple weeks ago and enjoy it. The rooms are large, good heater, good size TV, electric blankets. as to some other reviews, we didn't have a issue with our door or service. We did do our research before we stayed for location etc for the city etc, also we have been told if you did buy... More

• Staff gave several different answers depending on who you asked, and didn't know what they were talking about • Rooms are shabby (especially the toilet which the button sticks) • Cant adjust heating so room goes from freezing to boiling. In the snow not the best option • After cleaning first day our door was left ajar (door needed... More

We thought this hotel has seen better days, the decor is getting a bit old and shabby. We thought it would be busier. When we asked about a special at the restaurant that was advertised on a menu, he didn't know what we were talking about and had to go ask. On two other occasions the staff did not know... More

This is a good reasonably priced hotel, our room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. I checked in on 5th July. We were there for 4 nights. And the owner of the hotel by the name of david was really helpful and friendly. The staff there always there to assist you. I really did enjoyed my stay... More

Pretty much agree with all the comments so far, We were spending a romantic evening across the road at the Onsen Hot pools so decided to stay close as the roads were icy, and this was the closest and cheapest. The room was old and shabby and the heating barely kept the room above freezing. They management really needed to... More

This hotel is near Arthurs Point which is about 6km from the centre of Queenstown, so if you stay here you are probably best to have a rental car. Close to Coronet Peak ski area. Clean and tidy three star standard. The room I stayed in was a good size.
