We recently stayed at this motel as part of a wedding party. The motel was clean, comfortable and roomy. We booked a Suite which was the size of an apartment. It had a fully equipped kitchen, separate lounge area, huge bedroom and massive bathroom with a spa bath. There was definitely more than enough room for 2 people! The staff... More

Having used a number of motels in New Zealand this one stood out for overall value for money and the rooms. Our room had a large lounge kitchen dinner with modern television a large separate bedroom with a double and large single bed and with its own television and of course a separate bathroom. The kitchen area had a hob... More

We were warmly welcomed by Debbie who had a lively, bubbly personality. The motel is situated about a 20 minute stroll from the centre of Invercargill. There was a pub/restaurant opposite the motel but it was not open for breakfast. Alternatives for eating out were in the centre. We had an upstairs one bedroom apartment with a spa bath. The... More

This Motel is very clean, has great rooms and a very convenient location. All this is good and the Motel represents good value - but its most important features are the friendly and helpful staff. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful (including some great sightseeing tips), especially Debbie who adopted us English folks so far fromhome! We will recommend the... More

The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. We stayed in a huge room with a spa bath. Good resources were provided in the room to guide people toward the motel facilities and local sights. This was great value for money and we liked the way that ecological and community values were expressed in the business. More

This motel is right on the main road to Te Anau and we had a beautiful spa suite - the room was huge with a TV in the lounge, bedrom & bathroom!! Very comfortable night there. The breakfast was freshly cooked and the staff were very friendly. Would recommend. More

We arrived tired and harassed after a long journey. It was comforting to be met with a warm welcome and to be given an exceptionally large suite of rooms with a double spa bath. Completely free laundry facilities. Heaven! More

My sister and I took our elderly parents to the Oyster Festival in Bluff and as such stayed at the Homestead Villa Motel on Dee Street in Invercargill. The Homestead is close enough to walk to town and is fully self contained with modern and comfortable furnishings, fixtures and fittings. The place is clean and well run with friendly and... More
