This was our first night in a 2 week trip driving around the south island. The house is lovely and beautifully restored. The location in the small village of Roslyn 5 min from the town center of Dunedin was perfect. Our room had a balcony and large windows with beautiful view overlooking the gardens, the city of Dunedin and the... More

We stayed there for two nights in October 2011. The hosts Sandy and Jocelyn were mavelous, nothing was too much trouble and the hospitality first rate. The property has been well restored and contains lots of period features. The en suite room we had was large and well appointed. The breakfast was outstanding by far the best we had over... More

Had a wonderful but all too brief stay during the RWC. Jocelyn and Sandy couldnt have been more welcoming or helpful, truly delightful people. We stayed in the yellow room which was beautiful and had a stunning view over the bay, we were lucky to have a bright afternoon to take in the views and use the binoculars handily placed... More

The first accommodation we had booked starting our 3 week touring holiday and of the 14 places we stayed, it was voted our first choice. Lovely accommodation, great hospitality, exceptional breakfasts in front of a roaring fire....what more could you ask for. Many, many thanks to Jocelyn and Sandy.

We had such a wonderful stay here, although much too short (following Scotland in the RWC). The accommodation was very high quality, such a comfortable bed in a glorious period bedroom, with all the extras one could want. Breakfast was to die for, served in front of a roaring fire, and everything home made. Jocelyn could not have been more... More

Glendinning House is located on Highgate approximately one mile from the centre of Dunedin. Easy to walk to but more difficult to walk but to as it is up a hsteep hill. But Dunedin is only about 3 minutes away by car and parking isn't diicult in the town. We spent 2 weekends staying there in the Blue Master bedroom.... More

Glendinning House is situated in a very quiet uphill area with a lovely view on the harbour of Dunedin. It is a nice, partly renovated house with beautiful bedrooms, breakfast room, front room and sitting room in original state. The bedroom was very good with all the things one can wish for: coffee, tea, fresh milk, cookies, fruit, port and... More

If not a royal, than at least a princely combination of quality accommodation and first class service, offered by the lovely lady of the house and her husband. We haven`t found a better accommodation during our visit to New Zealand. Kommer en Madelon de Man-Modderman

Such gracious hosts. We had a lovely room and an excellent breakfast, not to mention the wine and goodies Jocelyn served to us in the evening. We would definitely refer this accommodation to friends and family.
