We tried to use Top 10 sites wherever we stayed in New Zealand. The standard was always high and the accommodation clean and comfortable. We used self contained cabin units which had bathrooms and limited kitchen facilities sufficient for a breakfast or a takeaway evening meal. Linen, towels and soap were always included. They were also easy to book ahead... More

This campground was a bit smaller than the others we visited but not cramped like queenstown for example. The kitchen and toilet/shower blocks we used were basic but nevertheless the park had everything even an indoor playroom for under 5's. It had a few toys in there to keep my little ones occupied which was a novelty as most other... More

Like other reviewers travelled in NZ for 20 days in a camper and this was the poorest site for welcome and facilities. It is also one of the most expensive places to stay. You can walk into Dunedin from the site but you do have to climb up and down a steep hill!

We have just completed an 18 day campervan trip around the South Island and have visited a whole range of sites and this was the worst. The receptionist was as cold as ice and when I presented our booking confirmation she totally ignored it. When we got to our allotted space it was right on the corner of the road... More

We had a powered site for caravan & awning. Nearly impossible to get pegs into stoney ground designed for campervans. Ablution block is old & crummy - needs updating. Showers were dirty, narrow & had no seat / shelf for items. Spoke to a staffer at our site to confirm how long we would be staying but he didn't pass... More

I'm in agreement with Caroway (Dec 2010) description: what a disappointment! We have 3 children so we are very limited in choice. But had we known we'd be crammed in, sleeping in a concrete bunker surrounded by carpark tarmac with more concrete bunkers to look at we'd have kept looking! It was grim. The outdoor playground looked good but was... More

Okay, being that we were a group of Uni/college kids on a tight budget. We had a bunch of 4 of us and got the small standard cabin which holds up to a max of 3 people. It was so much better than a few other places we had stayed originally. A lot of space for our bags, and us!... More

stayed for a couple of nights with my daughter in law and two grandchildren ages 11 and 14. We had a motel unit which was very cramped and I guess we were disapointed after having stayed at the Top Ten in Greymouth which had much better facilities for kids. It was difficult taking the bags up the stairs. Motel unit... More

Situated on main road, ideal for town centre, approx 20mins drive. Room was very small, small bed which was uncomfortable, very basic kitchen, no wardrobe, cupboard space or anywhere to hang your clothes etc. Unit was modern and well decorated, but not very well cleaned, hairs in bathroom! Wouldn't recommend for a stay over 1 night, not comfortable. Not much... More

My wife and I stayed two nights in mid July and rented a studio Motel unit which are relatively new. We were astounded at the size of the room which was huge. The decore was very nice, the bathroom spacious with all the usual motel things and the unit was clean and well maintained. Would be surprised if this complex... More
