Not worth the $137 I paid for 1 nights stay. Room was clean and has all you need for a simple nights stay. But that's about it. Me and my brothers were passing through and stopped for 1 night before heading to Auckland the following morning. On arrival, waited at reception for 10/15mins before anyone helped us, the Asian man... More

My wife and I have stayed here a couple of times over the last few years. They have nice, clean, tidy, well maintained rooms that are modern and warm. The rooms have adequate heating, sound proofing and quality fixtures. The location is a little way away from main attractions (Re:Start city, Riccarton etc) but is well situated and can be... More

We booked a standard studio as we only need a room to stay in for a one-night stopover from Blenheim to Queenstown. Room was fine - a little small for a studio by NZ standards, but since we were only staying for a night, it was ok us. Heater, shower were working well; room was also well-cleaned. I would have... We booked a family room for 4 person, the room is clean and the kitchen is well equipped. Because of the recent earthquake we decide to skip Christchurch city tour and go directly outside the city so the location is no matter to us. The worst thing is the owner or manager was so rude and unfriendly when we check-out.... More

Really good location not far from the city centre, so great for walking into town for lunch/dinner. Very large room and large bathroom with good off road parking. Room has kettle, tea, coffee, milk, small hob, microwave, fridge, towels and hair dryer.

This motel was our last stop after 20 days on the road. We were pleased to find that there were cooking facilities provided in the room so we could self-cater. The bed was firm without being too firm and we had a large, spacious bathroom as we were in a disabled access room. As others have mentioned, it may not... More

The room was very clean, large and well maintained. As written by others, very strong smell of disinfectant when entering the room the first time, but opening the windows for a while solved the problem for the rest of the stay. At least, it means that the room has been thoroughly cleaned since the last guest. Bed comfortable. Kitchen area... More

Stayed here with my family for a night as it was on Bealey Ave and centrally located. Really clean rooms and was very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this place if you are just needing a room (without the other facilities eg. swimming pool). Keep up the good work!

We stayed at the Bealey Avenue Motel recently as we were looking for a convenient overnight stay between our flight landing in Christchurch at 10pm, and leaving on our campervan holiday the next morning at 9. The Motel owners accommodated us by leaving the keys inside our room as it was nearly midnight before we finally got there. The room... More
