My wife and I stayed at this lovely little motel for 3 nights spread across 2 weeks early this year. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The management were extremely helpful. They even stored some of our luggage for us while we were travelling around South Island in a campervan! Can't recommend them highly enough.

We had a cosy clean room with a simple bathroom that was all we needed to crash at night. The staff were courteous and helpful. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the city centre and was not hard to find from the airport.

Amazing friendly service. We were met at the train without having to confirm ahead of time and then due to train cancellations had multiple trips to train station with kids in tow. Visiting from Australia -- we stayed a week. The owners and all the staff we met were genuinely warm, friendly, interested and extremely helpful -- this lasted the week through. This motels offers good, roomy and clean rooms. We stayed three nights. The landlord drove us free of charge to the train station and picked us up at the end of our train journey. Leaving our rental car was no problem. All and all good service with a smile.

Excellent motel for eldery couple with no steps and parking space right outside the door. The room was average size with comfortable bed, table, chairs and a T.V. with Sky. A very clean kitchen.
