we had a one nighter stop - it was clean and Paul gave us excellent travel advise (single storey rooms)

Great location close to bars, restaurants, supermarket and mall. Spacious clean rooms with sky TV and wifi and kitchen. The pool and spa were an added bonus and a BBQ was available to use. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with a wealth of local knowledge. Would recommend and go back myself.

We spent 5 nights at the Diplomat in Christchurch - our room was great, with everything needed for people travelling around. The outdoor spa pool was a welcome treat for weary bodies at the end of a day's sightseeing. Linda and Paul went out of their way to help and offer advice. I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely clean motel . Hosts went the extra mile, could not have been more helpful if they had tried. The room is Very spacious, well equipped, comfortable, clean and welcoming. I highly recommend the Diplomat Motel Will stay again!
