I stayed at this Hotel for 8 days, split in two parts. First 4 days we were given a complimentary upgrade, to a room with a Lounge & separate bedroom. This was not a good option as it was very depressing and in need of refurbishment. Very drab beige paint and old furniture and ancient bathroom. Apart from the decor,... more

The property is located along a stretch of road with many other hotels/motels, and from the outside it looks good. We got the room for two nights at discounted rate and the room was more or less within expectations. Nothing too fanciful, just the bare essential. more

The hotel mixed up our booking, two of the boys had to sleep on broken down old sofa beds, the bathroom was terrible and it was overpriced. more

We booked for 5 nights as part of an one month trip in New Zealand. Our room was away from the main building, on the first floor (had to struggle with luggage as no lift for this building, but staff did come and help when asked). The room was dark and dingy, had polystyreme ceiling tiles, chipboard furniture, and looked... more

Booked a superior room , and was placed on the other side of the hotel complex , Far from the nice gardens etc. as advertised on the website. Room was mediocre , Nothing bad , Nothing special. We stayed there twice on our recent trip to South Island. The rooms are basic but clean. Once we had the ground floor room and another time I had the top floor room. Definitely go for the top floor room if possible. Parking is free but the hotel is not in central location so you definitely need a car for... more

About a 20 minute walk from town so not ideal on a coach tour. Room was good with comfortable bed and powerful shower. Dinner was ok. Staff at reception very friendly. more

We got a great rate for this hotel. We only needed an overnight stop. Pretty good value for money. Our room was big (two queen size beds). The place felt a bit dowdy, couldn't quite put my finger on what it was. a few nice shops just up the road - in fact lots of accommodation in this street. Reception... more

We stayed at the hotel for 10 nights and the stay was very pleasant. Hotel location was good, easy to get to from the airport and carparking is free. Room was nice, we had 2 x double beds, 1 x cot, balcony which overlooked the inner garden. All the staff were very friendly and very helpful especially the receptionist who... more
