Terra Vive doesn't look like much from the outside, on a street lined with similar looking motels. But it is easy to find, with easy free parking. We stayed only 1 night. The room was large, comfortable and exceptionally well fitted out with large TV and mini kitchen, king bed, lounge, small private courtyard & roomy modern bathroom. We stayed here the night before we left new Zealand. The manager was kind and let us have a late check out. Unfortunately no wifi, but wired Internet was available. Great large screen tv, tv's in bedrooms too. Would recommend as a base for Christchurch.
