Very small room but well located for the main area where the bars and restaurants are located. The double room was clean though with Sky TV, kettle, fridge, tea, coffee and towels provided and the staff were helpful and friendly. Another plus was off street parking.

There are three price types at this hotel and we stayed in the cheapest. The bedroom was a good size (queen and twin bed) and the ensuite bathroom was adequate. We stayed here on a two bedroom unit on recent family holiday. These had to be the smallest two bedrooms we have ever come across. They were also run done and in need of some maintenance work. A group of us stayed at the motel during the Quarter Finals of the World Cup. The Halswell Motel ticked all the boxes for us - great location, friendly staff, clean and a top notch shower. The rate was good. The Wallabies knocked off the Springboks as well which made our stay even more enjoyable!
