My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights. Excellent location, 2-3 mins, and into town. We flew to Wellington, so had no vehicle, so parking wasnt an issue to us. Very friendly and helpful staff, fabulous breakfast. Comfortable, good size room. Excellent in house movies. We would happily stay here again. more

The only reason we gave this hotel 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that it is a little hard to get to. bottom of elevator few steps to courtenay place rooms were very comfortable, was on 14th floor and although in middle of city didn't have any trouble with noise. Only had few interactions with staff and they all were helpful hope both elevators are working when you stay cos can be very long wait if using them in peak work hours more

I got a great deal, and stayed 2 nights in a Standard Room, on the 14th floor, with a harbour view. Great location on Lambton Quay, close to everything. Quite close to Wellington Cable Car attraction. Clean and basic, with microwave and bar fridge. Roomy enough, recently renovated. Open windows, comfortable bed, sky tv. No problems. more

We arrived from Australia at around 1.00am and were taken to the address by a pleasant taxi driver. Unfortunately there is no obvious street access (and the taxi driver was as confused as we were) so even though we could see a sign telling us there was a Travelodge in the vicinity we took some time to find the entrance.... more

Wellington has a lot to offer, and although the accommodation at this place is at a very good standard, it is also very bland and only really suitable for business travellers.
