Stayed for one night before a wedding, the staff were nice but they closed the bar and surrounding areas around us without asking for last orders or anything! The room was simple but clean and tidy, bathrooms are old but clean.

I paid $135 for 2 nights which is pretty good value. The room was a good size and mainly clean excepting for the bed duvet cover which was brown from overuse. I just kinda avoided using it! The bed was very uncomfortable too. It was sold as a king but was two uneven singles. I wouldn't stay there again but... More

My wife and I have stayed here often when in town for concerts and events, so as not to have to drive back to Palmy afterwards. Always comfortable and well prepared rooms, friendly staff and better prices than most places. Easy walk into town, pay a bit more for secure overnight parking. We are already booked again for later this... More

Stayed here last year and paid around $165 dollars as it was a busy time of year and they were short on bed space - and I thought then that it was not worth that. However, have just bought a couple of nights at $89, on a WOTIF special and that is for breakfast for 2 and a late check... More

Stayed two nights for work. Surprising that even through close to the motorway...with the windows closed it was very quiet. I liked that the doors dont slam so you dont get distrubed by the annoying guests who cant shut a door quielty to save themselves. Room service was great and my breakfast was served hot and ontime each morning. The... More

Good value hotel in a good location. But not the cleanest - pair of knickers under the bed not a good look. And the restaurant hotel was not good value.

Stayed at this hotel as part of a coach tour and we have to say that this was easily the worst hotel of the trip. Not only is it dated but the room was dirty, no valance so it really exposed the old base of the bed. Generally felt that the hotel required a total refurbishment. Breakfast was fair. We... More

Dear made4travelling, Thank you for your recent post on Tripadvisor. I appreciate your honesty and apologise that the standard provided was not as high as our usual standard. On a positive note we are looking at starting a prototype room in the next couple of weeks which will increase the standard of the hotel. Kind Regards Jeff Hermes More

The reception lacked any interest! the staff although helpful where let down by unironed shirts! Now I realise that this does not alter the service given but as they are 'the directors of first impressions' I believe they let the company down. The room decor was very basic and although clean small changes could increase the desire to return for... More

We stayed two nights on a long weekend special and found the hotel very conveniently located and at the special rate, good value. The decor is dated and room was small but we were out most of the time so it didn't worry us. The area was quiet and it was so easy to get to the city or waterfront.... More
