Stayed three nights over the long Easter weekend in a one-bedroom suite. I had spent several days researching where to stay, and, even though it was quite a lot more expensive than others, judging on their web-site. it seemed to tick more boxes than other places. But from what they say on their web-site, to what we actually got, you've... More

The room was nice and in a great location. We booked this hotel 2 months before traveling to New Zealand as when we did our research it looked like a nice place to relax by the pool for a couple days. On our first day there, we saw a sign in the elevator that said the pool was closed for... More

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment in the low rise section. The apartment was large and very well appointed except for the two old style box television sets.It was well equipped with cooking utensils,crockery,cutlery.etc. The bedroom and bathroom were also well proportioned and very clean. There was a small balcony accessed from both the lounge and the bedroom, though... More

Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. Thought the staff could have been a bit more helpful when enquiring about things. Asked if there were any deckchairs for around the pool and was told no. Thought that most pools would have a couple around to relax on. Also thought they could take this on board to consider but didn't. Liitle things... More

We stayed inthe 10th floor Tower 1 penthouse in January. The accommodation, location and stay was perfect. The views are sensational. The only fault was the allocated carpark which was very difficult to negototiate for our large car. However, everything else was wonderful and this is a great place to stay.

Booked accommodation through holiday houses, so can't rate / review all hotel amenities... We used the pool/ spa and found them to be well maintained & clean... The apartment we stayed in had all that one would possibly need for a long weekend away...an ideal location, walking distance to pilot bay (starting area for half ironman) and definitely not too... Our 5 night stay with another couple in apartment 7B, a two bedroom unit on the 7th floor of Tower 1, was a highlight of our visit to NZ. The Twin Towers are located at the epicentre of the Mount holiday area, directly above a cluster of cafes and restaurants, and across the street from the main beach. We had... More

I used Oceanside Resort as a “home base” during the World Cup of Rugby in September and October of 2011. Room rates are probably seasonal but during the world cup it was approx $200 NZD per day. The unit was a 1 bedroom condo (apt) with a balcony on the 3rd floor overlooking Mount Maunganui. It was open concept (review... More

Stayed for a long weekend with friends. Apartment was way bigger than we thought with a full size kitchen and everything that you could need. Resort is located in the middle between the ocean beach and harbour and across the road from the hot pools. Walk out the door and you ther are many fine cafe's for coffee, breakfast or... More
