Pictures are not what they appear - this was a dump - beds sag, the smell is like a garbage dump - the sulfur from the volcano smell allot better - wouldn't stay again for $1. Service doesn't exist - the place is exactly what it is - a dump

Tha resort is easy to locate and very conviently situated for visitors coming from Auckland or Wellington. A good place to spend a quiet and restful night. For tourism a rather long way from central Taupo. Adequate and clean rooms, good service. Most rooms have a nice view on Lake Taupo.

Great location at the south end of of the lakefront. Friendly hardworking staff. The unit was clean and tidy and had a 42 inch tv on the wall in the spa bath studio unit. Te bathroom and unit were newly refurbished. Good amount of parking.
