Friendly staff who upgraded us to a room overlooking the lake. The room was clean and well equipped

Nice motel with everything that we needed. We could park our car very near to our room which was nice. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Only negative comment is that there is a bit of traffic noise that could be heard during the night.

Highly recommended. Clean stay, awesome friendly helpful staff, Lovely pool area. And the bed was just heaven nice and comfortable. Thank you so much for everything!

Had a great stay at tui oaks on our last day in nz. Well positioned for the lake, restaurants and bars. Hope to come back again soon.

Tui Oaks looks quietly elegant amongst the more modern motels but it is a tired old lady now. We paid top rate for a very average room which was small and on the ground floor, level with the carpark. Rather like the previous reviewer, we paid extra for a lakeview room but were initially shown to a tiny, horribly decorated ground floor room which, while it technically overlooked the lake, was too low down and only overlooked the car park. We booked into the Lake View Studio and were upgraded to a 2 bedroom Lake View, which was clean and spacious with heat pump/air conditioner.
