Superb view, superb experience in New Plymouth. I will never forget this place. We had a nice dinner at the restaurant. We all enjoyed it. $30 for a chef prepared meal a true treat. It was one of the happiest experiences I had in NZ.

Really enjoyed our stay at The Chalet - arrived on a beautiful sunny afternoon, to see snow capped Mt Taranki glistening in the sun and a wedding reception in full swing at the restaurant.

Had an excellent stay at the Okurukuru Chalets near New Plymouth. They are about 8-10KM fromtown so you need a car. The chalets are very well appointed and great views out over the coast. The wines are good and the restaurant is really excellent with great food and wines. Is an excellent wedding venue as well!
