This Motel seems to be all in it for the money, I have written two reviews on here from negative times of staying in this motel (yes, I made a mistake, hoping the place might have changed the second time round). It seems tripadvisor have removed the comments leading you to believe this motel might actually be worth your time...beware! More

i stayed there when i was up for a wedding and got rudely kicked out at 9.30 because my friends name wasn't the one that had booked it the room, her mother had.owners did not seem to understand that even though they had the same last name.bit of common sense did not apply to these people More

This booking was a bit of a fiasco. The room( no. 8) was paid for using the credit card of the mother of the female who checked in.I told her thet no one else was permitted to use the room. The following morning at 9.30 a youth came to the motel and said that he was trying to phone his sister... More

We have just stayed at Marlin Court for 4 days, what a lovely place. On arrival we were made to feel very welcome and the owner was most helpful in his suggestions of restaurants and places to visit. As we did not take our little fur baby this trip we did not feel disenchanted as his wee dogs were just... More

Stayed in a 2 bed room apartment with friends who had stayed at the Marlin before. The cleanliness of the rooms was of a very high standard. The rooms were comfortable and provided for all our needs. John and Maureen are friendly hosts and try hard to deal with any request you have. The motel is in an excellent position... More

We checked into this motel without a prior booking and after a brief inspection that showed that, although it looks '1970s' from outside, inside was comfortable, very clean, spacious and well-equipped. We had a separate bedroom with bathroom access; ranch sliders leading to a patio and a small private lawn. As we were on a 'resting' holiday we spent a... More

We went there to chill after being with family dashing around here there and everywhere. We were given a very warm welcome from John and Maureen. The accommodation was excellent couldn't fault it. Newspaper on the door step FOC everyday. It is a good base for all attractions. We were fully relaxed by the end of our stay. Would fully... More

Booked in for 1 night. 3 adults, all of us single so not keen on sharing beds with each other. That was all good. Checked in bang on 2pm as needed to drive North a bit to see a man about a dog. She tried to sell me a cruise at check in. Fair enough, up sell away, I'm not... More

Oh dear, we do our level best for our guests, but I believe it was Richard Nixon who said that you can't please all of the people all of the time... It does say on the office window that the office closes at 7pm and also in our room journals, however we do live over the office, so all people... More

This is a real gem! The hosts, John and Maureen, are lovely people - really helpful with suggestions of places to go etc. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly kept, milk in the fridge ready for a brew-up when you arrive. The beds are very comfortable. Plenty of car parking and easy walking distance to everything in town, but just... More

There are lots of cockroaches in rooms, bathrooms and kitchenette of this beautiful motel! Parking space is good. Rooms are spacious with nice balcony. However, the management of this motel is rude and not welcoming. No matter if guest's reach late, management should understand that delay in checking In by guests happen for reasons, they should make there guests feel... More

I have checked our bookings and these guests did stay with us back in February. We have no record of any problem at the time and we did actually give them a free upgrade. Why would it take a "senior contributor" 10 months to write this? This is hardly fair on us Trip Advisor, how about removing it??? More
