We stayed here in mid January, 2012 and loved every minute of it. Facilities are fabulous: clean and spacious and we wanted for nothing. Andrew is so friendly and nothing is a bother. He clearly loves what he does and it shows (he hates a chat it would seem!! - lol) He helped make our stay (alas as short as... More

Stayed here in November after Road tripping around Northland. Andrew, the owner, gave us a warm welcome and recommended lots of things to do and see. He seemed very knowledgeable about the area of Paihia. Place was very clean, modern and tidy. We had a 2 Bedroom unit which included a Queen bed and a twin room. Each room had... More

If you're looking for beachfront accommodation, in the heart of the Paihia village, this may not be the place for you. But if you're looking for a quiet, tranquil getaway, just a stones throw away from the bustle of traffic & holiday-makers, this is the place to be! Booked ourselves into a superior studio apartment (No.9) and to our delight,... More

If you're willing to take a 5 min. drive (or 15-20 min. walk) to the main activities in Paihia, this place is a real gem. The road does go over a pretty steep hill, though, so I bet the walk would be a drag. (It's not hard to find parking in Paihia.) The rooms are big, very well lighted and... More

Very friendly staff and a fairly modern, well-equipped room, with a fair amount of space in the kitchenette and the living area. Close to the coast plus (by car) the restaurants and boat trips of Paihia, and a good base from which to see the Bay of Islands. Recommended. More

This is an excellent Motel with way above average facilities. I could not find fault with anything. Friends of ours stayed here in Feb 2011 and recommended it to us. The price was very reasonable, and the owner could not be more helpful. More

DO you want to know why? Then you'll have to stay there and find out for yourself. A tip. The plug in the bathroom is very modern and unplugs by pushing down. There, That will save you a question! My mother and I had a lovely stay, the unexpected bonus being the on site entertainment. (Which possibly, judging by a... More

The accommodation was great with new bathrooms. Was not an easy walk into town with kids as it was hilly and windy. It was not as close to town as we thought. Overall it is a nice place to stay as everything was there and the owner Andrew has tried to think of everything. But the low point was Andrew... More
