Stayed one night at the end of October. Reasonable value and in a good location as only a short walk into town and sea front. Only negative was that the room was on the cold side. Would recommend Take Five Restaurant (Live Jazz) for dinner more

The Fountain Court Motor Inn is walking distance from downtown Napier and only a block away from the ocean. The rooms are spacious and have all major amenities, including a table and comfortable chairs. A computer room is available for internet access (with extra charge.) The motel is run by Jayne and Steve Mills originally from Orpington, Kent, who are very helpful and accommodating. There is a choice of studio, 1 or 2 bed apartments. Really liked this place. It is family run and staff were very friendly. The owner dropped up to the bus station the morning we left as it was pouring rain. Apartment was very clean with a kitchenette and cable TV. Very central location also and a courtesy newspaper in the morning. Also good value for money. Would recommend. more
