“Excellent stopover in a great city”

Convenient for the city, close enough to the sea to walk down before breakfast, all you need in your room, clean, comfortable, excellent parking - and the proprietor is very nice and fantastically helpful. Recommended!

After a bad night at a backpackers down the road, Bella Vista Motel was like heaven. Clean, smelt nice and very comfortable. This is our second stay with the Bella Vista Napier, and we re-booked for next year (we come down for the mission concert). Napier is the place to be when the Mission Concert comes to town, it is held at the Mission Vineyard. The Hawke's Bay weather generally smiles upon us this super weekend. Stayed here for 2 nights when we went to the Mission Estate Winery Tour with Barry Gibb, (he was amazing by the way) lovely accommodation very comfortable king size bed, not overly keen on showers over baths but very clean anyways would stay again.

Barry Gibb at the Mission Concert seems to have 'wowed' the people who saw him. The burning question will be, who is coming next year! Thank you for your really good review. “Very enjoyable stay”

Motel very clean and well looked after,hosts helpful. Found the laundry facilities very useful.We were staying for the Art Deco weekend and I would recommend any one who can, to do this- its a great weekend and lots of fun. Good central location and happy with the accommodation .

Good value and well located for the town, marine parade, and local eateries. No views as such or sitting out area, but certainly comfortable enough, and the complimentary wi-fi a bonus.. Well worth a look for a night or two.

Spent two nights at the Bella Vista in January 2013. Ideal location, 2 minutes from town centre, supermarkets and beach. “City motel but quiet”

Stayed one night.Pleasant friendly hosts,very clean motel and quiet at night.Great to be able to sit outside on a hot summer evening and have a cold glass of wine before strolling into town for dinner. Easy walk into the city and up to Marine Parade and sea walks. Two big supermarkets within 5 minutes walk.

“Close to sea front and Art Deco town centre”

Glad we found this motel. It is very well situated and the owners make guests feel welcome. A big plus is the choice of restaurants nearby, and just across the road is an RSA that offers superb roast dinners.

Thank you very much for your super review, we love the position of our motel, close, but not too close, just right. Our own travel experience tells us, that eventually you are ready for a good 'home cooked' meal, and the RSA provides a cracker! Enjoy the rest of your NZ adventure. More
