Charming, informative hosts,super clean, well furnished and equipped rooms.What more could you want?. A few minutes straight run into town which has some good restaurants which your hosts will tell you about. I have stayed at several motels in this chain and all have been excellent. More

I do not think we have been in a Motel that has been as clean as this place. Not a spot of dirt or dust anywhere. The room was large, well designed, comfortable and the furnishings in very good condition. The location is a little away from the centre of Gisborne but this does mean you avoid all the town... More

My friend and I just spent the weekend in Gisborne and having referred to Trip Advisor booked the number one motel - Bella Vista. We weren't disappointed, the owners were very welcoming and spent time pointing out out all the best spots and restaurants. We were also upgraded to a Superior Twin at no charge, as the motel wasn't full.... More

It was very easy to find, though it's not centrally located. We found our superior studio unit rather small but it was well enough equipped and quite good value. Our host was particularly helpful and friendly with hints about how to get the most from our brief stay. More

Rooms are a good size, nicely decorated and very well equipt. Service was fantastic they really went the extra mile for us. I don't often write reviews but enjoyed my stay so much I felt I had to. If you are planning to go to Gisborne stay here! More

Just stayed 2 nights at Bella Vista and had a wonderful stay. Although not extremely close to the town centre this clean and delightful motel makes up for it with excellent hospitality and it was easy to find right on the main street into town. Helen was wonderful and even gave us some allergy medicine when the pharmacies were closed.... More

Recently stayed at Bella Vista Gisborne, New Zealand. What a fabulously clean and pleasant place to stay. Stayed in the studio room and it was plenty big enough and extremely neat and tidy for the two of us. A really nice surprise to find it at a great price and such lovely owners. More
