After our nearly four hour drive to gisborne we were greated by dave (owner manager) with friendly conversion and banter. Nothing was too much trouble for him and even set the bbq up for me. Picked because they have a pool for the kids but got a lovely unit as well! Clean and well maintained and very helpful and friendly owners. A good family motel and very well priced. Not often find ourselves in Gisborne but will certainly note this as THE place to stay when we come back.
