I spent a week here recently, and can honestly not a find a fault with this charming hotel. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, the rooms spotlessly clean, top facilities and it`s in the heart of Auckland. The prices are reasonable, you also know that your stay is helping to support the Cancer Society. All the top attractions of Auckland are... More

I can only agree wholeheartedly with everyone comments. A lovely modern lodge surrounded by beautiful gardens and with the most wonderful staff - from the lovely, caring girls at reception (and Michael on weekends!) to all the friendly housekeeping staff. Ours was an unexpected stay as we were actually on a cruise when my husband had a mild heart attack... More

A lovely welcome greeted us at this hotel. There is secure parking on site and the rooms are very well appointed. Our 'room' was more like a suite and had an excellent little kitchen and a double and twin beds in seperate rooms. We slept peacefully and then had a good continental breakfast served in the room. This place is... More

We got a warm welcome from friendly and helpful staff at reception and enjoyed our three night stay in a very comfortable two bedroomed apartment. Bedrooms upstairs, along with a toilet and wash basin. Kitchen, lounge, shower and toilet downstairs. Lovely views over the city and within easy walking distance to free city link bus service, which is a great... More

Stayed here during the Rugby World Cup in September 2011. The lodge is something to do with the cancer society and used for patients and their families accommodation I believe, so it had the feel of a hospital about it, which I was more than fine about, but did slightly freak out my travelling companions!!! The room was very large,... More

Stayed here while visiting NZ during the RWC 2011. Room was surprisingly big, ample space for 4 people (only 2 of us though). Rooms cleaned everyday and people working here are nice and friendly. :) Lodge is located near a hospital (and is sponsored by the cancer society of NZ) and probably has guests like visiting doctors, patients etc. Right... We were attending a family wedding at the Auckland museum and picked this small 'lodge' due to it's close proximity. In total we had 4 rooms of variety of configurations. We ( 2 adults / 2 kids ) stayed in a apartment ( 2 story ). Downstairs there was a lounge room / kitchen and bathroom ( with bath ).... More

I cannot recommend this place enough. The apartments we stayed in both times (first time there was 6 friends, and last visit 3 family members) was fantastic. We stay at normally 41/2 star or 5 star properties but this surpasses all of them with the cleanliness of the rooms and surrounds. As you would expect because the lower floors accommodate... More

We stayed here with our two daughters (6&7) and had a family apartment for three nights. There were two bedrooms upstairs (one with twin beds, one with a double bed) with a shared ensuite between them and there was a kitchenette downstairs (kettle, hob, microwave, fridge and all utensils) with a dining/lounge room and another bathroom (shower over bath etc)... We booked via the hotel's website, a 'response' email arrangement which worked well - they responded instantly to our enquiry, and we were expected when we arrived. For our purposes, the hotel's location was excellent. It's on the periphery of the central business district, walking to which would take about 30 minutes. The city's circular 'Link' shuttle bus - a... More
