Very pleased with this choice and would stay at City Lodge again. Friendly staff, clean room with a great view of the Tower. Nice, clean kitchen/lounge area. Easy to get into CBD. Good value for money.

Although rather noisy (it was a warm night, and we kept the windows open, as there was NO ventilation otherwise), this hotel was clean and comfortable. Nothing special, but it did have coffee, tea and hot chocolate as well as a fridge in the room. Good location for walking around downtown, to the ferries, parks, etc.

Stayed here for almost 6 weeks when in NZ - absolutely excellent service, good value and convenient location (easy walk to central Auckland). Staff always incredibly helpful in advising about Auckland and allowed me to check out for a period to do some travelling. Would definitely stay there again.
