The service was good. Hotel location in city center is quite good. Room cleanliness up to the standard. Hotel staff also very friendly and helpful. Will come back to stay in future and recommend to friends or relatives.

bathroom was filthy (tiles mouldy, bath not clean and ?? under toilet) Heating did not seem to work? When sky tv was stated thought it would have at least one movie channel great service from the desk

Hotel is in desperate need of upgrading. The lobby looks good so we think the rest must look good too, you think you stay in something nice but as soon you step out the lift you in for a shock. When you look on the website the rooms look nice , so this is false advertisement.

Good hotel for a central visit to Auckland, however old hotel, first impressions poor - door would never open has to hip & shoulder it every time, dirty/stained toilet, mouldy grout in shower. Unable to work heater in room asked reception for help & were promptly delivered with a small heater that only blew out cold air and smelt burnt.

Great location, downtown, rooms at rear of hotel quieter. Only downside to our stay was the restaurant, dinner was only warm when received, mentioned this on leaving the restaurant to be told they had a new Chef, breakfast not much better. Would stay again but we would avoid the restaurant.
