We stay two nights in the Stamford Plaza as a mystery hotel deal. The room was roomy & we felt at home here. The valet parking was great & a reasonable price. I had a slight problem with the access card however the friendly staff were happy to sort the problem by printing new cards.

Just the one night stay , staff very pleasant and helpful, beds comfortable with spacious rooms. Breakfast great selection and lovely morning staff. Would like to try Grass Hopper restaurant next time..

Took advantage of their Winter Warmers Special a night away with breakfast included. Location was a strong factor as we wanted to be central Auckland. Loved it breakfast great. Would return. Not sure about this one. It is in a great location, staff are friendly enough but does not feel and look like a five star Hotel. It is a comfortable Hotel with adequate facilities but not a five star product. In its usual Stamford ways they try and cut corners and the products can't compete with the more premium offerings....
