This hotel is located at the Auckland viaduct, I had a marina view room , which was wonderful. The hotel was not noisy, the location was great and the staff very professional. There are many restaurants and bars along the waterside (viaduct), There was also free wifi which we used often.

Pure luxury! If you want to be totally spoilt do try the Sofitel Auckland. The rooms are spacious, the bed devine. We enjoyed the full breakfast at Lava dining. The decor is stunning. It is conveniently situated in the viaduct. Short walk to many restuarants and bars.

I stayed at Sofitel a lot and every time it gets better , they have started to refit lots of areas , the lobbie and lounge has new furniture and carpet . I find the service very good. We so enjoyed our stay. The staff, food and atmosphere were outstanding. We were in the heart of things if we had wanted to venture out but the hotel offered us all we required for a relaxing stay. It made a special occasion for us even more special. Thank you

Only had a short stay, but would highly recommend the Sofitel. Very friendly staff & a beautiful modern hotel. Good location in the viaduct, handy to great restaurants etc. The room was quiet and well decorated.

This Hotel was easy to find and for our purposes well located. on arrival service was efficient and prompt, the room better than expected. Only fault was we could not find the kettle to make a cup of tea (from a very good selection I might add) and only being there for 1 night did not make a fuss. Let... More

Lovely big rooms with balcony. Deep, comfortable baths and rain shower a treat. Massive bed very comfy. Very efficient service front desk and Lava restaurant that served up scrumptious breakfast with wide selection.

On my recent stay i was put in a room with wheel chair access, good to see they have those rooms. Beds are superb, best in auckland.
