We have stayed here many many times and come to Broome at least once or twice a year and always stay at Cable Beach Club. We have been before in January but this trip a few things were happening as the resort was closing in Feb for a month of renovations. A couple of suggestions for management 1. Wait until... More

Got a good deal as it was the last few days before the resort closed for renovations. Room was OK apart from fact we were located in a room under a heard of elephants who liked to continually move furniture around. It would have been good as there were so few guests to locate them all on ground floor rooms.... More

We stayed here for 5 nights and were taken to the resort by the resort mini bus as soon as we landed at the airport. The driver showed us to reception and then waited till we checked in and then drove us to our room and help us to locate reception again by informing us to remember all the horse... More

This was my 9th time staying at Cable Beach and it never fails to impress. The luxury, great restaurants, location and fantastic ambience make it a sheer joy to stay there. I found the customer service to be superb and the staff really friendly to deal with. Cocktails at sunset at the sunset bar are a must, not just for... More

Cable Beach Resort is a great example of why why people go to Asian '5 star' resorts and not Australian ones? 9 hours travel from Sydney, $2400 in airfares (2 economy tickets) and $650 p/night for a bungalow/villa, it is by no means worth the effort or expense when compared to the experience and facilities available to our north. We... More

This was our first stay and we will return. Pros Great customer service which is frequently lacking in Australia. Room was cleaned well each day. Thai restaurant superb. Pool and general surroundings beautiful. Fantastic flora and fauna - especially all the animals floating around. Good breakfast. Easy to access scooter hire. Cons It is a bit tired and in need... we recently stayed at CBCR and the rooms were dark and seemed old, as in dated. But giving credit where its due.... the thai restaurant is superb, with great meal sizes. the sunset bar n grill was excllent (tho pricey). But youre paying to stay at the closest accom to cable beach, and seeing the camel walk past at sunset,... More

The hotel used to be a more sophisticated place when Lord Mcalpine owned it, but it is still a nice place to stay. The 'adult' pool area is away from the teaming childrens's pool and is far more peaceful. For the rates they are charging the pool area is a bit tired and dated, but the accommodation around it- especially... More

Must have better standard of food at that bar where they serve the cocktails, which overlooks the sunset and the beach. Could have a map to go around, not to confuse people too much. The prawns at the Cable Beach buffet were not good enough for me. Should have been better. Needs a bit of improvement there. Good thing the... More

We travelled to Broome on New Years day and stayed at the Cable Beach Resort. On arrival, the first impression was average. The resort looked old and tired, but was very clean and well presented (decor was very dated). I could see that they wanted to keep within the Broome theme of corrugated iron and lattice, but it could be... More
